Preparation beforehand: follow the recommended diet at least one week prior (avoid alcohol, red meat, processed foods, caffeine, and drugs). This will help make the ceremonies deeper and safer.
Open attitude: approach the experience with respect, trust, and willingness for inner work. The process may bring intense emotions, but the shamans will be there to guide and support you.
Personal items: bring comfortable and light clothing, proper footwear for walks, personal hygiene items, insect repellent, and a notebook to write down reflections.
Respect for the group: the retreat is a collective experience. Listen, share with respect, and maintain confidentiality about what other participants experience.
Hydration and rest: drink enough water and take advantage of rest periods between ceremonies to restore your energy.
Health and safety: inform the team if you have any medical condition, are taking medications, or have previous experiences with sacred plants. This is key for your safety.
Digital disconnection: take the opportunity to minimize the use of phones and social media. The retreat is a chance to connect with yourself and with nature.
